Released in 2013, Silent Life is a feature film by Italian director Uberto Pasolini, but the story takes place in the United Kingdom and tells the story of a man who is responsible for finding relatives for the lonely deceased to attend the funeral, and after being told that he will be dismissed, he tries to help his last customer find relatives to attend the funeral.

However, soon after, the leader decided to dismiss John because of the merger of regional operations, one of which was that John chose a burial because of the faith of some of the deceased, which greatly increased the cost, and the supervisor was also prepared to cancel the funeral for the deceased who did not have a family to come after the dismissal of John, and in his view the funeral was for the living, not for the dead. Later, John even saw his colleagues mixing the ashes of the dead into a cemetery.
John begins to take seriously his last job before he was fired, and the place where the deceased Billy Stocker lived was just across the street from John's building, but no one noticed him for weeks after his death, and his life was no longer noticed.
John visited the deceased's former lovers, colleagues, comrades-in-arms, prison guards, beggar friends and his daughter, and found that this was a very strange person, he had done many magical things in his life and helped many people, he was always the most special one in the crowd, but because of his violent temper, he always broke up with others, and finally died silently.
Finally, thanks to John's efforts, the friends, family, and comrades that the deceased Billy Stockck met in his life came to his cemetery, and the daughter of the deceased admired John's behavior and wanted to date him, but she did not expect that John was suddenly in a car accident, and died alone, no one knew, accompanied by only the forgotten undead like him.

This film takes the audience together to launch a reflection on life, somewhat similar to the Japanese movie "The Mortician", but the latter is concerned with death itself, while this film is more concerned about us alone, whether anyone will know after death, and whether those who have accompanied us for a while in life will come to witness our death.
After watching this movie, sharing bacteria feels that a person's life is really terrible, not that death itself is terrible, but that death is so lonely. Whether there is no real acquaintance, or someone else does not want to come to the funeral, it shows how non-existent this person is, and after the death of the world is still moving, after the house is cleaned up, there are still people living, no one will know that there was such a person in the world.
