Pete claimed to be responsible for what he did, but he wouldn't ignore what he hadn't.
In the fall of 2016, investigators investigated the private jet violence but did not release details. The FBI announced in November of the same year that the investigation into Pitt had been dropped. Recently, however, documents have been made public about Pitts' unusually violent actions under the influence of alcohol, which allegedly led Julie to file for divorce.
The former couple's current legal dispute is over Château Milaval, a winery in the south of France, where the wedding took place in 2014. Pete accused Julie of selling her share of the property to a third party without his consent. She claims that during the negotiation process, he asked her to sign a confidentiality agreement so that she could not speak publicly about the abuse of her and her children.
The two actors fell in love during the filming of the film Mr. and Mrs. Smith and met in the mid-2000s.
