Qilu Network September 6 news When it is hot in summer, many people like to cool off under the trees. But in a village in Weifang, let alone the shade, the timid walking under the tree has to pinch sweat.

According to the Shandong Radio and Television Station's Life Channel "Life Gang", "Ten days ago, these trees were all green, and after ten days, not a single leaf was gone, just like the winter (tree) died." Mr. Mao, a villager in Taolin Township, Weifang, said.

Mr. Mao usually works as a farmer at home, and mr. Mao has been planting this poplar forest for eight or nine years. However, just half a month ago, these trees had a problem. The reporter saw at the scene that all the branches of the poplar forest were bare, and the poplar trees were covered with white objects in the form of a net, and when touched by hand, these white nets were very sticky.

The reporter found that not only the poplar trees planted by Mr. Mao's family, but also many poplar trees around the village have this situation. It turned out that these trees were full of bugs half a month ago, the largest of which was about two centimeters, and the smaller one was nearly one centimeter. Looking at these yellow, yellow, green and green bugs, Mr. Mao's heart was anxious and worried. "These little trees have grown for two years, and they have all eaten up this time, enough to choke, can not live, ten or twenty thousand yuan is gone."

Although most of the tree's leaves have been nibbled off, many bugs can still be seen on the trunk. The more Mr. Mao thought about it, the more frightened he became, and the four or five hundred trees in the family's several acres of land were the case. So, what exactly are these bugs? Where did it come from? The reporter dialed the forest protection station of the Forestry Bureau.

The staff of the forest protection station told reporters that this bug is called "Yang Xiaozhou Moth", which occurs every year, and due to the drought of the weather, this year is relatively more.

Qiu Shihua, head of Taolin Township's waterlogged village, said the insects ate the leaves, but they did not have much impact on the growth of the trees, and may sprout a little later next spring.

After the large number of insects appeared this year, the staff has applied pesticides to some small trees to ensure the normal growth of most small trees. However, due to the limited equipment, the relatively tall tree cannot be solved for the time being. Qiu Shihua said that at present, it has been reported to the relevant local departments, and they will also actively contact effective prevention and control measures.
