Disney's live-action fairy tale movie "The Little Mermaid" revealed its first poster.
Directed by Rob Marshall and starring Harley Bailey, Jonah Hauer-King, and Melissa McCarthy, The Little Mermaid is a song and dance film based on Disney's 1989 animated The Little Mermaid.
In the movie, the little mermaid falls in love with the human prince, and in order to be with the prince, she sacrifices her voice and enduring great pain to turn herself into a human being, but the prince marries the princess. Instead of killing the prince to transform into a mermaid, the little mermaid chose to sacrifice herself, and eventually she got an eternal soul.
