There are cute red hemp ducks, yellow-necked storks, majestic collared owls, black-winged long-legged sandpipers, and colorful white-bellied golden pheasants and Alexander parrots... "There are more than 600 kinds of birds in Dali, the birds are cute and beautiful, the behavior and movements are also very interesting, I like the birds." Li Boyang told reporters. He joined the school's "Sunbird" bird watching club in November 2018, initially with his eyes and telescope. As his interest in birds grew, in January 2019, he began picking up his camera to photograph birds himself. More than 360 species of birds have been photographed, most of them in the Cangshan and Erhai wetlands of Dali. This time, with the support of the Dali Guardian Bird Watching and Bird Protection Center, he selected 40 works for exhibition, aiming to appeal to people to love birds, protect birds, and love nature.
"I hope that when you see these pictures, you can also like the cute birds, and then protect them and protect nature." Li Boyang said. At the photography exhibition, some shy and shy, with the encouragement of his teacher, he went to the people who watched the exhibition again and again to explain bird protection and distribute promotional materials.
It is understood that Li Boyang's Shimonoseki No. 2 small "Sunbird" bird watching society was established less than two years ago. The children of the community have followed the Dali Guardian Bird Watching and Bird Protection Center to the village many times to do the "love birds, protect birds" publicity, and also participated in the rescue of green peacocks. "I hope that children will approach nature from an early age, love nature, and sincerely want to protect nature." Club instructor Luo Xin said.
