Embedded with more than 115 natural rubies, more than 4414 pearls, are uncarved precious treasures, with natural beauty, any one is a valuable treasure, plus a large area of dot green decoration, the overall shape is solemn, exquisitely made.
The front part is decorated with nine golden dragons, the mouth is beaded, there are eight dot-green golden phoenixes underneath, and there is also a golden phoenix in the rear, a total of nine dragons and nine phoenixes. Jin Fengfeng's head is facing downwards, and the mouth is dripping with beads. The beads can be shaken as if they were walking.
This is the Kowloon Nine Phoenix Crown of Empress Ming Xiaoduan excavated from the Ming Ding Mausoleum on October 20, 1957. The crown of the whole Kowloon Nine Phoenix is about 48.5 cm high and weighs about 2320 grams. Its shape is just like the name, composed of nine dragons and nine phoenixes.
According to Chinese legend, the dragon is a beast, a symbol of power, and ancient emperors often regarded themselves as the true dragon Tianzi. The phoenix is also a kind of divine beast, known as the honor of a hundred birds.
Kowloon and Kowloon Phoenix are woven together in the form of art, which not only embodies the artistic conception of pursuing peace, but also shows the noble identity of the wearer.
When archaeologists found the Kowloon Crown, this glorious treasure was quite well preserved. Its kingfisher feathers, still with excellent luster, are gold-rimmed on top, looking palatial without a hint of fading.
Due to its relatively high value, the Kowloon Kowloon Crown was rated as a First Class Cultural Relic by the relevant authorities. Later, the state included the Kowloon Nine Phoenix Crown in the first batch of "prohibited exit" lists.
