Bilingual in Chinese and Italian Life is full of surprises The "kissing sign" in the Roman pastoral trail

It arrives after Gallipoli, Anacapri, Pozzuoli, Termoli, Lampedusa, Sirmione. And after the nearest Isola dei Liri, in the province of Frosinone, where it is located just below the Cascata Grande and Sperlonga, in the province of Latina, where it appears in some panoramic points of the country: even in Rome the romantic signage has appeared.

After Gallipoli, Anacapri, Pozzuoli, Termoli, Lampedusa, Sirmione, one place appears under the nearest waterfall in Isoladeri (Flosinone province) and in several attractions in Sperlonga (Latina province). And now, Rome also has its figure - romantic road signs.

Along the Sentiero Trilussa, a 7-kilometer route that starts from Vitinia and ends at the corner of Via del Risaro and Via Massa Fiscaglia, in this hot summer the sign appeared with the obligation to kiss.

The Trirusa Trail stretches from Vitnia to the corner of the Risaro and Massa-Fiscaria Roads, with a total length of 7 km. On this hot summer day, the edge of the trail is signposted with the words "Must Kiss the Road".

"Kiss me please. In this place it is mandatory to kiss", reads the circular sign. In the circle, entirely colored blue, in addition to the invitation "kiss me please", written in a cursive and white font, there is also a couple depicted in profile. Long hair on the left and short on the right, the two faces are approaching, about to kiss, to fulfill the obligation imposed by the sign.

"Please kiss me, this place must kiss," the circular sign reads. In the round card on a blue background, in addition to the "Please kiss me" request written in italic white, there is also the silhouette of a couple: on the left is a long-haired avatar, on the right is a short-haired avatar, and the two faces are approaching each other, ready to kiss to fulfill the obligations stipulated on the road sign.

"Too nice. At the Trilussa path under Tor de' Cenci and Vitinia, it is mandatory to kiss... a sign of peace, affection, esteem, respect and much, much more", writes someone on social media, commenting on the committee's choice to insert, in the bucolic panorama of the route, also this sign.

"It's so beautiful. People in the Thorusa Trail Thor de Zench and the Vitinea region have to kiss ... This marks peace, camaraderie, appreciation, respect and many other meanings. Someone wrote on social media, expressing thoughts about the committee's decision to insert this street sign in the idyllic scenery of the trail.

The Trilussa Trail, "natural paradise at km 0"

The Trerussa Trail, a natural paradise within easy reach

The Sentiero Trilussa is a route located in the area southwest of the capital, between the territory of Vitinia and those of some of the three most famous nature reserves near Rome, Decima Malafede, Tenuta di Castelporziano and the Roman coast.

The Trirusa Trail is a trail located in the southwest of Rome that passes through the Region of Vitnia and three of the most famous nature reserves near Rome (Decima Malafede, Tenuta di Castelporziano and il Litorale romano).

For years the entire area, including the path, has been cared for by volunteers of the Cefalonia Forever association, as established through an agreement with RomaNatura, confirmed for the next two years. Over the last few years, it was they who created opportunities and events to promote the territory, from the night walk to the discovery of fireflies to guided tours; from guided tours to the eco-workshop for children. The sign with the obligation to kiss is only the latest idea had by this group of volunteers: before they had already been installed a small house for insects, Bug Hotel Trilussa and a small free library, A reserve of books.

Since the agreement with Roma Natura, a local government agency, for many years the entire area, including the trail, has been managed and cared for by volunteers from the Cefalonia Forever Association, and will continue to do so for the next two years. In recent years, volunteers have designed numerous activities to promote the development of the region: a night tour of finding fireflies, a guided tour, a child ecology lab, etc. The Kiss Sign is just one of the latest ideas from the volunteer team: they've already set up a Bug Hotel Trilussa and a small free library, a book store.
