Hahaha, ancient Egyptian artifacts are actually carved with dinosaurs?
Yesterday, I introduced you to the Narmai palette from ancient Egypt (Picture 1).
A friend pointed out that on the front of the Narmai palette, there are dinosaurs carved (Picture 2).
I have to say that everyone's imagination is really rich.
So, what exactly are these two animals that resemble Beam Dragon?
In fact, these two animals are not dinosaurs at all, but animals created by the imagination of the ancients.
It is generally believed to be the body and head of a lion + the neck of a snake.
This paired monster image may have originated from the Mesopotamia region of the Two Rivers Valley.
On a drum seal belonging to the Two Rivers Uruk region, scholars found this monster image (Fig. 3).
