Von Don on Lawrence's "Madame Chatterley's Lover": Lawrence's description is very unique and quite groundbreaking. An important theme of Lawrence's work is the pain on the road to human modernization, and another important theme is the light, darkness, complexity, and entanglement of the relationship between men and women.

This book is mainly about the resistance and alienation of man as a natural person to modern society.

The heroine Connie was born in a middle-class family and has a considerable interest in art, nature, and herself. At the heart of the machinery industry, Connie seemed out of place. She insisted on not being assimilated, continued to be herself, freely gave up money, fame, social status and other external things, and sought her love, spirituality and divinity, thus moving towards a new life.

The male protagonist, Mailers, loves nature, does not trim the edges, has a red face, wears a dark green cotton fleece coat, wears leggings, and is followed by a gray hound. He actually read a lot, was bright and studious since childhood, and worked as a company clerk after graduating from high school, but he didn't like the lifeless life in the city, although it looked very glamorous. So I chose to live alone in the mountains and forests, living with nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the world. He saw loneliness as the last and only freedom in his life.

"Madame Chatterley's Lover" takes Mrs. Chatelle and the Forester several interactions as the main line of the whole book, and uses beautiful, lyrical, and poetic language to describe the contact between the two, psychic, psychic, and has a certain religious nature.

In fact, couples like them who live in the mountains and forests away from the hustle and bustle of the city are not uncommon in modern society, and there is nothing to be surprised about.

Feng Tang Zhuyu is in front, and the small editor is in the back, simply add a few words.

Hemingway said an "unpleasant childhood" was necessary to become a writer, and Lawrence was no exception.

Lawrence's father was illiterate, barely able to read the newspaper, and by nature was a hedonist, drinking as soon as he had some money in his hand, and coming home drunk every day. My mother was a small family of jasper, from an old, well-off citizen family, who liked to write poetry, was very intelligent, and went to the library to read books whenever she had time, stubborn and conceited.

Lawrence grew up listening to her mother's scolding and crying and the fist slap her father slapped on her mother, "there is a fear in the darkness, it is creepy, and the heart is bitten by intense pain." Once when my father came home drunk and my mother was nagging as usual, my father picked up a drawer in the closet and smashed it on my mother's head, and my mother suddenly fainted and was bleeding profusely.

Lawrence felt "the humiliation of dignity brought about by poverty" from an early age. One of the things he remembers most as a child is that he likes to cry very much, crying at every turn, and when his mother is angry, she will move to the garden with a chair and say, Cry, annoying. Father must have been furious at this point, saying that if he kept crying, I would beat him until he didn't cry.

Lawrence likes to play with girls, not with boys. When I went to school, I especially disliked competitive games such as cricket and football. He liked to observe life, "no flower, no tree, not a bird can escape his eyes".

At the age of 15, Lawrence followed his father to a friend's house and met the first woman in his life, that is, his first love, Jessie. Jessie was 14 years old, her face was black and red, she had long black and short curly hair, she was very good-looking, very casual, her eyes were dark, some shy, some doubtful, and some disgusted with strangers. Lawrence was wearing a student uniform, much to Jessie's envy because Jessie didn't make it to high school. The two soon became acquainted, and the relationship became increasingly intimate.

The two are together in addition to studying and reading. Jessie thought he was a literary genius and deserved to be a writer. They encourage each other and make progress for each other. But under the firm opposition of their mother, the two broke up sadly. Later, Lawrence said that the most loved woman in his life was Jessie, and Jessie was his conscience, and he loved Jessie with his soul. But he wanted Jessie to be his goddess to protect his literary conscience, and he didn't want Jessie to be his wife or lover.

In 1912, Lawrence came to Germany, met his wife, Frida, and soon fell in love. Frida is healthy, powerful, charming, beautiful, energetic, positive and confident, and complements Lawrence's bravado, nerve sensitivity, conceit, suspicion, and frankness.

They travel everywhere and are always on the road. Every time I go to a beautiful place, I will live for a while, although it is difficult to live, but I am happy inside and have the feelings to drink water.

In 1925, Lawrence fell ill with a very serious tuberculosis and had to live in a farmhouse to recuperate, and doctors said he could live for up to two years. In the last days of his life, he wrote the masterpiece "Madame Chatterley's Lover".

Tuberculosis is a disease with a very strong literary temperament, Lu Xun said, the most elegant thing in ancient times, is the snowy winter, by the beard to help look at the plum blossoms, while coughing up a mouthful of bright red blood. It was obvious that the man was suffering from tuberculosis. Lin Daiyu in "Dream of the Red Chamber" is a tuberculosis patient, melancholy and suspicious, often coughing up blood, but she has become a magnificent goddess in the minds of the majority of literary and artistic youth. French writer Dumas's famous work "La Traviata", the heroine Margaret also suffered from tuberculosis and died.

Feng Tang said that the body is unfortunate and the spirit is fortunate, and the frailty and illness can help writers write good articles. The flesh produces sickness, and the pain makes the spirit relatively sensitive. Therefore, illness, alcohol, and medicine are all good friends of writers and artists.

Lawrence wrote the book for three years, changing its manuscript three times. He described the work this way: Adam quarreled with the angels, and Eve waited for the opportunity to hide again in the Garden of Eden. The book shocked the literary world with its bold and explicit depictions of some aspect, and was commented on as: the most evil pouring, animal nature, sewers, dirty perversion, brain damage, the most filthy book of English literature, poisonous genius, and so on.

"Mrs. Chatailai's Lover" has a far-reaching influence, Jia Pingwa's creation of "Waste Capital" is deeply inspired by this book, Chen Zhongzhong's "White Deer Plain" tian Xiao'e, is modeled on Mrs. Chaterley's creation, Wang Xiaobo's "Golden Age" Chen Qingyang, there is the shadow of Mrs. Chatelet.

Feng Tang said that reading is a very personal matter, and you can hide in your room, close the windows, close the curtains and read the book.
