Out of love for this plant, Al Mazroui traveled to most of the world's desert countries, spending huge sums of money to introduce different types of cacti.

Al Mazrou is known as the King of Cacti, and he owns the largest cactus farm in the Bay Area. There are more than 1,000 different kinds of cacti, with more than 5,000 plants.

Al Mazruoi said in an interview with Emarat TV. "It's not just a farm, it's a garden, a paradise for plant researchers in the UAE and the Gulf, where about 90 percent of the plants are not available in the market."

Located in Las Hippocampus, the farm is now open to visitors, students and all cactus lovers.

Al Mazroui hopes to transform his farm into a nature reserve to help the country's medical and scientific research.
