I "ride" an elephant in Thailand

(Originally published in Jinling Evening News 2015)

Thailand is a tropical country with no winter, and summer is more than 9 months throughout the year. I recently traveled to Thailand, where there are special shemales, thrilling performances with cobras and crocodiles, and tourists can also participate in feeding small cockroaches and tigers. But the most memorable thing about Thailand is to experience the "elephant riding" for yourself. Elephants are the largest animals on land, with a wide back, and cannot be ridden by humans. Visitors to experience elephant walking, you have to put a special seat on the back of the elephant, the person sits on the seat.

Thais love elephants, elephants are humane, can get along with people, elephants also contribute a lot to Thailand. Of course, elephants "riding" in Thailand are trained to be docile and will not harm tourists. Elephants are also friendly with tourists, and sometimes play with tourists, asking tourists for fragrant burnt food, and after eating, they will make a "thank you" gesture. "Riding" the elephant, the man first climbs the stairs to a wooden attic and stands on a special platform to line up. The elephant came and stepped into a special iron seat on the elephant's back and sat down, which could seat two people side by side. After the tourists sit down, they fasten their seat belts, so to be precise, it should be called "sitting elephant".

With a roar, the elephant team set off. Only then did I feel that sitting on the back of an elephant was not as comfortable as I thought, and the mountain road was rough, and I climbed small hills from time to time. Look down from the tall elephant's back, afraid of falling. After adapting, I found that the elephant herder was sitting on the side of the elephant's neck. From time to time, the elephant herder kicked the elephant's left or right ear with his toes, indicating the direction of the elephant's progress, and from time to time issued various instructions that only the elephant understood, and the elephant obediently walked according to the instructions of the owner. The elephant behind me followed the elephant I "rode", and the pace was steady and slow. Whether it is an elephant or a tourist, as long as you sit according to the instructions of the elephant herder, there will be no accident

At this time, the two elephant people who were "riding" by the same group came over, and I shouted: "Take a picture of each other." "I took out my camera and zoomed in, pulled them together, and took the appropriate shots. When they all saw the pictures I took, they all laughed at Mimi and were very satisfied.

However, the photo sent to me by the other party was probably ignored for a while, and the camera was not close, and my figure was taken smaller. However, I repaired it "closer", although vague but also so-so - this is the first time in my life to sit on an elephant real record...
