The best bespoke bikes, parts and wheels in Australia and the world are presented at the Australian Handmade Bike Show HBSA. Bossi Bicycles
Bossi Bikes, named after the founder's surname Bossi, first entered the market with a range of cost-effective commuter bikes, and founder James said that while these cost-effective commuter bikes were a good purchase, they "didn't really ignite the soul." After opening the idea of custom titanium frames, James determined the development path centered on custom titanium frame road cars, and bravely moved forward.
Bossi unveiled three models at the show, two from the Strada road bike range and one upcoming Gravel model.
The frame of this Strada SS road car is very distinctive, the frame is made of hydraulically formed 6/4 and 3/2.5 titanium alloy tubes, the shape of the riser, upper tube and head tube is quite pneumatic, the fork is moved down, and the overall shape of the frame is similar to the all-round large group frame of the World Tour; The frame axle is sized T47, and the highly integrated layout of the full inner line can accommodate the tire clearance of the 30mm tire. In our opinion, this Strada SS offers the perfect balance – all the current fashion trends in the World Tour's big group of cars + a magical ride by a titanium frame, two words "comfortable".
The bike's parts are configured with RD1R wheels, SRAM RED eTap AXS shifting kit, Vision Metron 5D all-in-one handle, Selle Repente all-carbon seat bag, and it is said that the whole vehicle weighs very competitively - only 7.7 kg (this is an air-operated road bike with a metal frame).

Founded by former racing engineer and bike enthusiast Mark Hester, the Prova bike, a name that means tested and developed in Italian, represents the limits of Mark's continued push for handcrafted steel bikes.

The Razzo on display here is a custom-made steel-framed road bike commissioned by the Drapac family as a memorial piece for the first non-UCI registered rider, Daniel Drapac, to perform at the ANZAC Day Classic Riding Event. The bike is adorned with several carved motifs and badges in honor of the late Damion "Duda" Drapac, who was unfortunately hit by a driver and lost his life while participating in the ANZAC Day Classic Ride in 2019.

Fighter Cycles
Founded in 2020, Melbourne Vechter Equipment presented its first brand new model, the Genesis, a fixed-toothed single-speed vehicle, at the show. The Genesis's aluminium frame sells for just $899 (4228RMB), making it arguably the most affordable bike at this year's show; However, a low price does not mean a compromise on performance.

Lost Bike Studio
Founded in 2018, Lost Bike Studio is a newcomer to the world of handmade bicycles. 2021 is the second time the brand has appeared at the Handmade Bike Show, showcasing fully customized rounded brazed steel frame road bikes and gravel bikes. Each lost bike is fully customized to the individual needs of the customer, from frame geometry and body paint to body parts.
The bike's paint scheme was the most eye-catching at the show. With a frame made of magical Columbus Cento steel, a custom gravel car-specific chain-gauge chain fork and a complete Campagnolo gravel shifting package (with wheelset yo), coupled with a purple Panaracer gravel tire, this custom car attracts a steady stream of admirers.

Baum Cycles
Operating the North Shore Shipping District in Geelong (76km southwest of Melbourne and the entrance to the famous Great Ocean Road), Baum Bikes is arguably the most well-known custom bike manufacturer on this list. Baum has a long history of producing custom steel and titanium frame bikes, and Baum showcased several bikes at this year's event, spread across several different booths.
The eye-catching Baum Racing livery, painted by Geelong's Cyclelic Customs studio, paired with the full Shimano Dura-Ace large kit (shifter kit, tooth plate and wheelset), this flagship Orbis fits right in the center C of its Baum booth.
Llewellyn Custom Bike Workshop
Founded in 1988, the Llewellyn Custom Bike Workshop is a handmade product of master craftsman Darrel McCulloch. This custom road bike on the stand perfectly demonstrates what the hand-cut and hand-polished Lug casing process is. The bike takes approximately 250 man-hours to make by hand, from the production of the Lug casings, the welding of the frame to the final finished product, which involves hand-cutting complex designs and biting them with Colombus Spirit steel tubes, and hand-polishing chrome silver to the final finish.
Partington wheel set
There are also several handmade spare parts manufacturers at HBSA. Geelong-based Partington Advanced Engineering presented its R series wheels, with highlights – handcrafted, high-end and unique.
Each R Series wheel set is custom-made, with carbon rims featuring a 21mm inside width, 26.5mm outer width, a 39mm front frame height and a 44mm rear rim height mash-up, compatible with empty tires and a number of unique features. Chief among them are the carbon fiber spokes wrapped around the hub shell. The spokes are connected to two different points in the rim, and there are 10 spokes on the front and rear wheels.
The interior of each rim is filled with a foam core. The foam core effectively supports the edges of the thin rim carbon wall, which is said to reduce weight more effectively while increasing strength and stiffness. The wheel set is said to weigh only 1150 grams.
Parlee Cycles
Bob Parlee founded Parlee as early as 2000, a company with a rich background in the manufacture of ships using composite materials, and they have been committed to the simple but noble goal of producing the best bicycles in the world. Parlee has a talented team of handmade craftsmen dedicated to creating tailor-made, high-performance carbon bikes and frames for its customers.
Parlee unveiled its latest Chebacco gravel car at the show. The car's highlights are the wide tire clearance that can accommodate a 45mm outer width tire (or a 47mm outer width 650b wheel diameter tire), an additional kettle rack mounting position at the downtube, and a car bag and fender mounting point on the fork.
All Parlee custom bikes can be customized with paint and coating schemes to suit the different needs of buyers. While this Chebacco looks black/navy blue, this frame has a speckled blue that looks beautiful in the sun, while the Campagnolo eKAR gravel shifter kit is tailor-made for this horse.
Bastion Cycles
After the collapse of Australia's car manufacturing industry, three engineers founded Bastion Cycles and quickly occupied the local custom bike manufacturing market, becoming one of the largest custom brands. The frame is manufactured in a 3D printed titanium ear bonded high-die carbon fiber tube, a nod to the traditional LUG process by modern manufacturing techniques, and Bastion brought several custom cars to the show, including the company's first gravel car called "Cross Road", as well as two models, the "Road Disc" and "Superleggera". Bastion offers audiophile-grade parts for "savetherimbrake" heavy enthusiasts, including new highly integrated integrated road handlebars and forks.

Also making its debut was a Product from Brisbane-based Sugarloaf Cycles, showcasing stunning custom-built traditional road bikes (CRCs). It is said that each bike is basically tailor-made for buyers, with an emphasis on design around riding comfort and riding pleasure. The frame's carbon fiber tubing is sourced locally in Australia and bonded with 3D printed LUG sleeves to match each rider's specific geometry.

Tor Bicycles
While road cars and gravel cars dominated the show, there were also some coveted mountain bikes, such as this ruby-red Zenith , a Zenith Trail Bike from Beechworth's Tor company. The steel-framed Zenith is a full suspension forest car with a single turn point and 29 wheel diameter with a 130mm suspension stroke, and is said to be an "all-round mountain bike". The car features a frame made of dove steel and Renault steel, as well as an aviation aluminum grade rocker arm, a simple and effective rear suspension suspension.
