The US Navy sent warships to Indian shipyards for repairs, and in order to win over India, it was really open-minded

According to the Naval News website, on August 7, the U.S. Navy's "Charles Drew" dry cargo supply ship docked at the Katupali Shipyard in India, preparing for 11 days of repairs. This is the first time a U.S. Navy warship has been sent to India for repair.

The Indian side attaches great importance to this single business, and specially held a welcome ceremony for the "Charles Drew", and senior Indian military officials such as the secretary of the Indian Minister of Defense and the deputy chief of staff of the Indian Navy lined up to welcome the arrival of the US ship.

The Indian side regards the maintenance of the Charles Drew as a "milestone" development in the US-India relationship, and also provides a huge impetus to "Made in India" and "national defense self-reliance", marking "India's ability in the global ship repair market".

It can only be said that the United States has also fought hard in order to win over India, and it is really not afraid that after the ship is repaired, there will be no place to put a bunch of screws. Especially in terms of the maintenance period of 11 days for this ship, it is most likely not a big problem, if it comes well, and then there is an accident after leaving, then the Indian shipyard will once again become the laughing stock of the world.
