On the morning of the same day, the Hatamachi Forest District Police Station received a call from the police, saying that when the patrol personnel were patrolling, they found two "kitten cubs" stuck in the wire and kept calling, and the color of their bodies was different from that of the domestic cat, suspected of being wild animal cubs. After receiving the police, the police immediately went to the rescue, and after preliminary identification, it was found that the two "kitten cubs" were national second-level protected animals - ocelots, and there was no obvious trauma, and the ocelots were immediately taken back to the police station.

Ocelots are of the genus Cat family, Ocelots. The ocelot is also known as the "money cat" in China because the spots on its body resemble Chinese copper coins. It is similar in size to a domestic cat, but is slimmer and has longer legs. The coat color of the southern species is pale brown or light yellow, while the northern coat base appears more gray with dark spots around it. There are spots on the side of the body, but they are never connected into vertical stripes. Noticeable white streaks extend from the nose to between the eyes, often to the top of the head. The ears are large and pointed, and the back of the ears is black with white spots. Two distinct black stripes extend from the inside of the corner of the eye to the base of the ear. There is a white stripe from the inner corner of the eye to the nose, and the nasal snout is white. The tail is long ( about 40–50 % of the length of the head ) , with a ring stripe to a black tip.
