"It's ants!" Lupita, 39, said excitedly in An Instagram video on Thursday that she was showing off a slice of mango with dozens of black reptiles on it.
Lupita wears a pink one-shoulder one-shoulder dress with a pair of small earrings.
"Really tasty!" She said after taking a big bite. "It's not even brittle."
She uttered a satisfied "Hmmm" after eating the rest of the food that had been decorated with insects.
"You can call me Antwoman!! #Marvel #Ant #Foodie," she wrote under the title of a video clip in which she holds a glass of champagne in her other hand.
Against the backdrop of her video, people can be heard discussing this delicacy.
The video, filmed in Los Angeles, is the opening night of a three-day dinner series featuring food at Noma, a world-famous restaurant in Copenhagen, Denmark.
