A reporter from the China Securities Journal learned that Ant Group has established an independent encrypted computing company, Zhejiang Ant Secret Computing Technology Co., Ltd., which will provide cryptographic related products and services to promote low-cost and credible data circulation across clouds and terminals.
It is understood that this is the latest commercialization move after Ant Group recently announced a technology strategy with artificial intelligence and data element technology as the core.

It is reported that Zhejiang Ant Secret Computing Technology Co., Ltd. is chaired and legal representative by Wei Tao, vice president and chief technical security officer of Ant Group, and Wang Lei, general manager of Ant Group's privacy computing department, is the CEO, and the company is wholly owned by Ant Group.
As a major technology service provider in the field of data elements, Ant Group is exploring the next generation of privacy-preserving computing technology and providing inclusive privacy-preserving computing services, including a set of end-to-end data security assurance, a set of computing acceleration solutions that combine software and hardware, and a privacy-preserving computing cloud service platform.
Related products and services will be released one after another
At the 2024 Digital China Construction Summit held recently, Ant Group announced the "Hidden Cloud" dense computing cloud service platform, which will release related products and services this year.
"Hidden Cloud" will provide data cryptography services, large model cryptography services, dense data hosting, dense data research and development and other services around the whole link of data circulation, with the characteristics of "on-demand acquisition, out-of-the-box", so that small and medium-sized enterprises can also obtain cryptographic services at low cost, lower the technical threshold, and open up the space for industrial collaboration.
It is worth mentioning that since 2016, Ant Group has focused on the deployment of privacy-preserving computing technology and large-scale application practice, which has been widely implemented in rural finance, public services, new energy industries and other fields.
At present, Ant Group's core technologies of trusted privacy computing have all been open-sourced, including the "Hidden Words" trusted privacy computing framework and the "Xinghua" trusted execution environment operating system Occlum.
