In 1971, Nyima, a 25-year-old Mongolian woman, responded to the call and took her 3-year-old son from her hometown 200 kilometers away to the northernmost tip of Prague Sumu, the right banner of Alxa, Inner Mongolia, on the Border between China and Mongolia, and began to graze cattle while guarding the border. For half a century, she took root in this Gobi like a poplar, saying: "Guarding the border is my task under the national flag." It was such a vow that Nyima answered with her life. In the summer, the surface temperature of the ground can reach 50 degrees Celsius in the hot summer, and only when she is thirsty when patrolling the border, she is willing to take a small sip; In winter, the cold wind of the Gobi blows like a knife on the face, and the water and rations in the kettle are frozen into hard pieces...
Today, Nyima is old, and her son Hadab takes over the "baton" from his mother and continues to patrol the border. Over the years, mother and son have taken over the border to protect the border, patrolling more than 180,000 kilometers of the border line, reporting to the border defense company a number of suspicious border personnel, and persuading and stopping thousands of critical personnel. Nyima instructed her son: "In the future, when I die, I will be buried on the border that has guarded me all my life." ”
