Attending the meeting were senior members of the National Management Commission, including Vice President of the National Management Commission, Vice Admiral Sowin, and the Thai side, including military attaches and relevant personnel of the Thai Embassy in Myanmar.

At the meeting, the two sides held consultations on strengthening the friendship between the two militaries, stabilizing the border areas, upgrading the crackdown on transnational crime, and cracking down on drug smuggling.
