01 Contrarian growth, abnormal performance? <<<<
1) Affected by the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and the epidemic, the annual inflation rate in Cyprus rose from 8.8% in April to 9.1% in May, the highest rate in nearly 40 years.
2) The government plans to purchase subsidies that have ended at the end of 2021. (A 1.5% interest subsidy for up to €400,000 on a home loan for a home purchase is provided for a period of four years.) )
3) In November 2020, the project for foreign investors to obtain a Cyprus passport (known as the "Golden Passport") was discontinued.
Affected by the above three situations, the enthusiasm of customers to buy a house in Cyprus should be suppressed, but why is the Cypriot real estate market able to stand firm and continue to show an upward trend?
