In addition, the Mongols also demanded that Goryeo offer beautiful women, craftsmen, and Chinese translators.
These requirements were clearly beyond goryeo's reach, and Goryeo was really difficult to get together.
Due to the delay in delivery of the state, the Mongols sent emissaries into Goryeo to urge them, but did not want the emissaries to be killed on the way back, and the Mongols believed that it was the work of Goryeo and sent troops to invade Goryeo, and the Mongol Goryeo War began.
The Mongols used troops against Goryeo seven times, for forty-two years, during which the Mongol army plundered and slaughtered the city repeatedly, causing great suffering to Goryeo.
By the seventh year of the reign of Kublai Khan, Emperor Wonzong of Goryeo paid tribute to Mongolia, and the Mongolian War of Goryeo ended.
