With the intensification of sanctions against Russia, inflation within the EU has also become more serious, and the price of commodities and energy has risen, especially after the EU embargo on Russian oil, the EU has fallen into an unprecedented energy crisis. But even so, the EU has not realized its mistake and has tried to continue to escalate its ban on Russian energy, which is clearly a "suicide".
The Observer Network reported on the 11th that although less than two weeks have passed since the sixth round of sanctions against Russia proposed by the Eu, this does not prevent the EU from brewing new actions against Russia. EU officials pointed out that the current EU parliament is discussing a new round of sanctions against Russia, and Russia's energy issue is still the top priority of the discussion, after all, some EU countries strongly demand that other parts of Russia's energy be banned, completely preventing Russia from using energy revenues to expand the "war of aggression".
It is reported that the main demand of these EU countries is to require the EU to ban Russian natural gas. In this regard, Hungary in the EU warned that it has only been banning Russian oil for a long time, and the EU intends to ban Russian gas, which will make the EU's economy collapse seriously, just like some EU countries have serious inflation, once there is no support from Russian gas, there will be some countries facing bankruptcy, which seriously threatens the lives of ordinary residents.
In fact, this is also true, countries such as Hungary, Slovakia, and Germany are all "heavily dependent" on Russian gas. About 85 percent of the natural gas used in Hungary comes from Russia, Slovakia imports about the same amount, and more than 65 percent of Germany's total natural gas imports come from Russia.
Not only that, most of the countries within the EU rely on natural gas, and once there is no Russian gas, then the price of electricity in the EU will rise rapidly, which will have a serious impact on business production and residents' lives. Knowing this, Hungary certainly would not agree to the EU's "self-harm" or even "suicide" actions.
As the Hungarian foreign minister said, either the EU will provide Hungary with a substitute energy supply or keep the Russian-Hungarian gas pipeline, and if neither is guaranteed, then a total ban on Russian gas is a "suicide" that will collapse the economies of most EU countries, including Hungary.
In fact, Hungary is not the only country opposed to banning Russian energy. Bulgaria's energy minister has clearly warned the EU that if the EU bans Russian oil without a safe oil replacement program, then there will be no way to sustain a stable life in Bulgaria, and Bulgaria will definitely not support the EU's "self-harm" behavior.
However, the EU has firmly implemented the "self-harm action". Earlier this month, the European Union announced that all member states had agreed to ban Russian oil altogether, leaving only the Russian oil pipeline on land to central Europe. If banning Russian oil is just "self-harm," then banning Russian gas is "suicide."
In fact, the EU also understands the adverse effects of banning Russian energy on itself, but in order to make Europe more suitable for the United States, for what they call "justice", the EU still firmly decided to completely ban Russian energy, even if such behavior will make all EU residents pay a price.
To put it bluntly, the purpose of banning Russian energy is not at all the "justice" as described by the European Union and the United States, and the fundamental purpose of these countries is to "oppose Russia". By banning Russian energy exports, the United States wants to weaken Russia's national power in an all-round way, so that all of Europe can become the "self-reserved land" of the United States.
