I am a girl whose independent living ability is not very good, because from childhood to adulthood, I have been well protected by my parents, so studying in the UK is a big challenge for me. But after half a year of being here, I can say to myself: You can live well alone anywhere.

The study abroad life is the same every day, there is no improvement, there is no loss. I learned that studying abroad is not heaven or hell, it is still an ordinary world.
When I first came to the UK, I once took a bus to a supermarket a little farther away to buy something, and I was not very familiar with the bus route at that time, only knowing to search Google Maps. Unexpectedly, google maps and the site names on the electronic screens on the bus are inconsistent, and it is no surprise that I don't know how many stops I have sat on. After not hearing the destination site, I found that something was wrong, immediately got out of the car, and walked home alone by Google Maps.
It was dark in England in winter, and when I first arrived, I looked at some unfamiliar faces and the homeless people at the entrance of the supermarket, and felt extremely terrifying.

Before coming to the UK, I didn't think how heavy the study was, I saw the international students on the Internet, every day was very happy, but after coming, I found that this was a misunderstanding. I can only try to understand the teacher's ppt and recommended literature. In the final exam after the Christmas holiday, the pressure is really great, every day like a headless fly, reviewing the teacher's courseware, reading literature, and doing practice questions. But after this final exam, I clearly felt that life had become relaxed.
I began to cherish my study abroad life more, began to record my life, hang out with friends, and attend my classmates' birthday parties. Wake yourself up every morning with a cup of black coffee without added sugar or milk. Get used to going to the supermarket alone, thinking about what to buy in advance, hoarding ingredients to cook for yourself, and sometimes just wandering aimlessly. Although I sometimes miss home, I am more likely to cherish the time now. During the Dragon Boat Festival, I went to the supermarket to buy 2 red jujube dumplings, and after enjoying them satisfactorily, I went to the gym with my friends to punch in.
