As of June 10, 2022, all domestic and foreign restrictions on the entry of coronaviruses into Uzbekistan have been lifted, including requirements for negative nucleic acid tests and nucleic acid vaccination.
In accordance with the decision of the State Special Committee of Uzbekistan, from 10 June, the temporary restrictions on tourists arriving in Uzbekistan will be lifted.
According to the Cabinet Press Service, the procedure applies to all citizens entering the country through aviation, border train stations and border checkpoints.
The committee's decision removes the requirement that citizens must test negative for nucleic acids and hold documents related to COVID-19 vaccination before coming to Uzbekistan.
It is noteworthy that the Special Committee took this decision into account the recommendations of the World Health Organization and the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, Health and Epidemiology peace and public health, taking into account the dynamic decline in the spread and incidence of coronavirus infections in Uzbekistan, as well as the epidemiological situation.
