It is understood that in 2018, the dance poison moth insect pest occurred in the Xing'er Forest Area of Minhe County and the Mengda National Nature Reserve of Xunhua Sala Autonomous County, the dance poison moth mainly eats plant leaves, and the harmful tree species are more than 500 kinds of plants such as Liaodong oak, aspen, oil pine, hawthorn, etc. The insect has a large amount of food, miscellaneous food, and when it is serious, it can eat all the leaves of the tree, which is a kind of overeating pest. This year is the third year of pest control, and the inspection team went to the Site of Pollution-free Prevention and Control of Tianqiaogou Dance Moth in Xing'er Forest Farm in Minhe County to conduct detailed investigation and verification. After on-site inspection, standard investigation, checking with the "Prevention and Control Plan", reviewing the archives and communicating with the person in charge of the prevention and control technology, the supervision team believes that the implementation of the "Project" has completed the main content of the construction of the pollution-free prevention and control demonstration area of the dancing poison moth in strict accordance with the project construction plan, and the prevention and control effect has reached the expected goal, and it is required to continue to do a good job in monitoring the dance poison moth, sort out and improve the "Project" file, and prepare for the final acceptance.

Since 2018, the forestry and grassland department of the pest occurrence area has carefully organized and actively responded under the professional guidance of the higher-level business department, relying on project and financial support, using methods such as spraying smoke and spray prevention and control with pollution-free agents, manually collecting egg blocks, pupae, light booby-traps, sexual attractants and other methods, effectively preventing the spread of the dancing poison moth, greatly reducing the density of the insect population, and effectively restoring the forest phase and achieving obvious prevention effects.
