#Beautiful Life in Sicily # One of the film "The Godfathers" - Forza d'agro.

Forza d'Agrò is a mountain town located between Catania and Messina, at an altitude of 420 meters. Quietly hidden in the mountains, the town retains its medieval character and became one of the filming locations for the film The Godfather in 1971.

Here you can overlook the Ionian Sea. The town has winding and narrow alleys, steep hillsides, the ruins of ancient castles and city walls, and olive and almond trees.

High above the town is an ancient defensive castle from the 11th century, Il Castello Argano, which is said to have been built during the Norman dynasty.

Arches - Durazzesco Arch is a must-see. It is located at the top of a stone staircase through which you will reach the beautiful square. Beautiful views from there.
