Q: Teacher Zhang, I think it is very difficult to become a designer, can you talk to us about what is the reason why you entered this industry.
Z: It should be more influenced by my father, my father was a carpenter in his early years, the furniture in the family was made by my father, I felt that my father was very powerful when I was a child, because of this, I liked to follow my father to learn to build some objects since I was a child, like to design some new objects in my own way, after going to school, I also chose my favorite interior design major, I like to bring a sense of achievement and happiness to others in the process of design.
Q2: Teacher Zhang, what are your usual hobbies and interests?
Z: In my daily life, I occasionally go on a tour in my free time, take my camera on a walk-and-go trip, and I like to record the scenery along the way. I also like to read books, and when I am impetuous, I can calm down and think slowly, I think reading books can reshape my thinking. Where the eye can't reach, the words in the book can reach.

Q3: Teacher Zhang, can you talk to us about your understanding of designers?
Z: Design is designed around the human scale as the basis, not only refers to the engineering scale of the human body, but more is the physiological, psychological and living habits of people. Through the designer's design, let a work be released, rather than binding it with rules and regulations. For example, through lighting, colors and matching furniture, etc., balance the living atmosphere of the entire space.
These practical experiences for designers are relatively high, because it is necessary to take into account the integrity, grasp the proportion of spatial scale, the analysis of internal and external factors of things, the insight of the customer's personality and living habits, the guidance of the situation in the design process, the ability to control the appropriate and so on.
So a qualified designer, in my opinion, represents professionalism, skill and precision. In addition, it is necessary to have their own independent ideas, concepts and creativity, have a clear idea of layout, space and objects, and at the same time be responsible for organizing all this, so that each of their own works can be successfully landed, which is the designer in my eyes.
