The director of the office, Major General Jay Mennon, said: "Compared with before, the Chinese battalion has continuously expanded its patrol area in the Juba Theater, which is commendable, and I hope that you will continue to contribute to the cause of peace." ”

It is reported that in accordance with UN General Assembly resolution 67/287, the Office for Strategic Partnerships of Peacekeeping Operations is regularly dispatched to United Nations missions at the request of the Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and the Department of Peace Operations to gain an in-depth understanding of the performance and contradictions and difficulties of peacekeeping forces in the mission area. Its content covers authorized tasks, combat readiness training, personnel administration, military-civilian coordination, rear equipment support and other items.

It has been learned that since its deployment to the mission area, the battalion has paid attention to continuing the tradition of the "iron army," sharpening the will and quality of officers and men, always maintaining the fighting posture of "no difficulties in front of the iron army, and an iron army in the face of difficulties," and fulfilling various peacekeeping tasks entrusted by the United Nations with high standards. Up to now, the battalion has carried out a total of 137 tasks such as city patrols, short patrols, long patrols, and armed escorts, with a range of 7695 kilometers, which has been highly affirmed by the local government and the United South Soviet Regiment.
