河边钓鱼时发现好多像薄荷一样的草，因为不太清楚是不是薄荷，随采了一片叶子放在手指间揉一揉，把叶片的汁水揉出来放到鼻子底下闻一闻，顿时一片薄荷的清凉味钻入鼻子，和普通薄荷不一样的是此薄荷叶片光滑，不粗糙，可能长在河边水肥充足的原因，茎杆粗壮，薄荷味浓厚非比寻常！

同去钓鱼的一个小伙子带了蚊香点起来，问我要不要蚊香，我非常感谢他，并对他说用不着蚊香，你看这一片薄荷草在这里，蚊子是不会来咱们这里的，却实在那段河边钓过好几次从来都没有被蚊子咬过，因为薄荷草好像有驱蚊作用！
