The biggest upgrade is fast
As a new generation of WiFi standards, faster network speeds and lower latency are naturally basic operations.
First of all, the theoretical rate of WiFi 7 can reach 30Gbps, which is exactly 3 times that of the WiFi 6 standard; secondly, WiFi 7 can support 4096 QAM, and the density of the transmitted signal is greatly increased, compared with WiFi 6's 1024 QAM increased by about 20%; finally, the bandwidth is increased from 160MHz in the WiFi 6 period to 320MHz in WiFi 7, achieving three frequency bands of 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz, which means WiFi 7 Theoretical upload speed directly doubles, signal strength up.

WiFi could actually be smarter
It is worth noting that these are the speeds that can be achieved by theory, and in real life, you must take into account your living environment, broadband rate and other factors, just like the few people who can reach the standard speed of WiFi 6 in those years.
However, WiFi 7 has some characteristics, which do not require particularly fast broadband, and we can also experience it, that is, tri-band work at the same time.
Now when the WiFi 6 routing is set, it will generally be divided into two frequency bands of 2.4GHz and 5GHz by default, even if your WiFi 6 reason does not have such a setting, I recommend that you divide into two frequency bands of WiFi, and then connect to the 5GHz band.
Because the 2.4GHz band is easily interfered with or occupied by other devices or old-fashioned routes, the 5GHz band is much more "refreshing" and has faster network speeds. However, the higher the frequency of the frequency band, the more susceptible it is to barrier interference such as walls.
So sometimes it happens that when the 5GHz you are connected to is interfered with and cannot be maintained, the WiFi 6 route will automatically connect you to the 2.4GHz band, but the reverse will not work. The phone does not actively switch from 2.4GHz to 5GHz.

WiFi 7's multi-AP can be almost seamless network switching, it is also composed of multiple routes, but the difference is that a multiple signal source is composed of WiFi signals, which are then received by the mobile phone. When you go from one WiFi 7 route to another WiFi 7 route, the signals of the two go on and on, no longer disconnecting one and connecting to the other.
Equivalent to, in the past, there were multiple air-conditioned rooms, and today the central air conditioning is installed in the home, not only in each room, but also in the corridors and dead corners.
Of course, these are all features of WiFi 7, and it is still necessary for the phone itself to support the WiFi standard, but this does not have to wait too long.

Do you need WiFi 7?
