At the conference forum, Li Jie, member of the Party Working Committee and deputy director of the Management Committee of Chongqing Liangjiang New Area, introduced the industrial investment environment of Chongqing Liangjiang New Area.
Li Jie said that Chongqing is the only municipality directly under the central and western regions, an important strategic fulcrum for the large-scale development of the western region, the connection point between the "Belt and Road" and the Yangtze River Economic Belt, with an important strategic position and obvious location advantages, and will become the fourth growth pole to drive the country's high-quality development. Chongqing is deeply implementing the important instructions and requirements of General Secretary Xi Jinping's proposal to Create a good political ecology for Chongqing, adhering to the "two-point" positioning, "two places" and "two supremes", giving play to the "three roles" and promoting the construction of the twin-city economic circle in the Chengdu-Chongqing region, unswervingly taking the road of high-quality development, and making every effort to build a "smart town" and build a "smart city". Liangjiang New Area is the first state-level new area in the inland and a strategic platform for undertaking major national development and reform tasks. As the main battlefield of Chongqing's economic development and an important growth pole of the main urban area, Liangjiang New Area is aiming to build an inland open gateway and the positioning of Chongqing's smart city, and strive to build a high-quality development leading area and a high-quality life demonstration zone. We have gathered ten vehicle enterprises such as Changan, Geely, SAIC Hongyan, SAIC-GM-Wuling, Beijing Hyundai, etc., forming a vehicle production capacity of 3.7 million vehicles, with 4 independent automotive research institutes and R&D centers, and more than 200 core supporting enterprises in the whole industrial chain. Last year, the automobile industry in Liangjiang New Area achieved an output value of 150 billion yuan, especially in the first half of this year, the automobile industry continued to grow strongly, with an output of more than 400,000 units, an output value of nearly 100 billion yuan, and a bicycle value of 165,000 yuan.
New energy, intelligent networking, and brand high-end are the direction of the development of the automobile industry in the new area. In terms of new energy, we have a forward-looking layout in the charging and replacing hydrogen energy infrastructure, and initially formed a cluster in the field of fuel cells; in terms of intelligent networking, we are making every effort to build a national-level vehicle networking pilot zone, actively guide the demonstration application of automatic driving, and strive to form a nationally leading and world-renowned world-class automobile industry cluster by 2025, and the total output value of the automobile industry will exceed 300 billion yuan.
The development of large industries requires a large range of space carriers, we have concentrated on creating a new city for the integration of three major industries of Yufu, Longxing and water and soil, with a total planning area of 238 square kilometers, and the main layout of the automobile industry is in the two major areas of Yufu and Longxing, and there is a broad carrier space in the future.
The development of large-scale industries requires strong support for scientific and technological innovation, and we are committed to the development of three major innovation platforms. Liangjiang Collaborative Innovation Zone was included in the "Outline of the Planning plan for the construction of the Twin Cities Economic Circle in Chengdu-Chongqing Region", becoming one of the four major platforms for the construction of a scientific and technological innovation center with national influence in Chengdu-Chongqing, and is aiming at emerging industries to set up open and international high-end research and development institutions, which have gathered 37 universities and research institutes at home and abroad; The Liangjiang Digital Economy Industrial Park has gathered nearly 6,000 digital economy enterprises, and the added value of the digital industry accounts for one-third of the city; Lijia Yuelai Wisdom Park focuses on "science and technology + application + life".
