This is the daily work scene of the Nanyu community in Nanyu Town, Fuzhou High-tech Zone. Lin Cuiqin, a party member of the Nanyu Community Neighborhood Committee, is also a mother of three children. As a local, she can memorize the home addresses and situations of the local elderly and the objects of help, and become a living map in the eyes of residents.

Coming to the Nanyu community, the reporter followed Lin Cuiqin to the door to comfort the object of help. Most of the community is small alleys, and outsiders are easy to get lost. Lin Cuiqin rode a battery car, flexibly shuttled between them, and accurately found the home address of the person he helped.
Many elderly people in the Nanyu community can only speak Fuzhou dialect, and Lin Cuiqin, as a local girl, has won the trust of many elderly people. She is familiar with the family situation of each person she helps. "The daughter of this family suffered from leukemia and left first, leaving only her mother." "This family is an 80-year-old man living alone, and the child is disabled." In addition to the daily distribution of condolences, she often visits the door to ask about the difficult needs of her clients.
An old man in his 80s, with a disability in his family, who lives by the sluice gate of the river, often leaks water in his home when the summer flood season comes. When the district was relocated, the elderly moved into a new house, but the decoration and furniture became a problem. Lin Cuiqin and colleagues actively fought to help the elderly apply for tens of thousands of yuan in subsidies.

This "living map" of Nanyu originally worked in the city, but later returned to his hometown because he had to take care of his children. With the encouragement of the community secretary, she began assisting the community in 2019 and officially became a community worker in 2021. "In 2014, I signed the organizational relationship to the community and felt that the atmosphere was very good. When I came to work in the community, the secretary inspected me for a while and felt that I was competent for this work; and I had the support of my family. Lin Cuiqin said.
Don't look at the Nanyu community, there are only more than 1,200 residents, but these residents are spread across 24 surrounding villages, and the farthest is a 15-minute drive away. In her daily life, Lin Cuiqin is mainly responsible for the community's party building publicity work, contacting 42 party members in the jurisdiction, and actively participating in various activities such as garbage sorting, helping neighbors, and epidemic prevention and control as a volunteer. Lin Cuiqin and her colleagues work together, and now she has traveled to 24 villages.
This year at the regional nucleic acid scene, Lin Cuiqin held a loudspeaker to maintain order. Some people did not line up at one-meter intervals, or even cut in line to affect the sampling process. Lin Cuiqin came forward to shout to stop these uncivilized behaviors, many of whom were his acquaintances.

She also told reporters that on that day of nucleic acid testing, one of her children was sick and was cared for by the elderly. Lin Cuiqin herself was very anxious, but the community was short of manpower, and she finally insisted until the end of the test before going home to take care of the children.

In the past month, Lin Cuiqin and colleagues have mobilized the elderly over 60 years old in the community to inject the first dose of the new crown vaccine. In fact, his wife and children were vaccinated. I asked his family to tell him that vaccinations for the elderly could prevent severe infections. He was also shown a promotional video. In order to persuade the elderly, Lin Cuiqin also provided a full shuttle service. Because the old man was motion sick and could not walk for a long time, Lin Cuiqin and his colleagues found a tricycle to escort the old man throughout the process. On the way, many residents saw their intimate care and mistakenly thought that the two community workers were the children of the elderly.
