Recently, the School of Architecture and Engineering has carried out the theme of "Promoting the Spirit of Labor Model, The Spirit of Labor, and the Spirit of Craftsmanship" to carry out aesthetic education and labor education activities, condensing the strength of endeavor, and actively creating a campus cultural atmosphere of "glorious labor, valuable skills, and great creation".
Cultivate beauty through labor and stimulate the feelings of labor
The Lugang Construction Engineering Museum became a new labor base, and the students gave full play to their talents and talents, created on the surface of the municipal cement pipe placed on the side of the road, and painted 14 color paintings, covering the spirit of labor models (love and dedication, striving for first-class, hard work, courage to innovate, indifferent to fame and fortune, willing to dedicate), labor spirit (advocating labor, loving labor, hard work, honest labor), craftsman spirit (dedication, excellence, meticulousness, and pursuit of excellence). In the process of collective labor, the students were always enthusiastic, drawing their understanding of the three spirits through pen and ink, and drawing the pursuit of truth, goodness and beauty with affection.
With Lau Shu De, set up the ambition to forge ahead
Labor is a pursuit, an accumulation, a fulfillment, and a happiness. On the afternoon of April 29, more than 90 students from the School of Civil Engineering and Architecture, led by 14 teachers, came to the 14 cement halls depicting 14 spirits to share the happy experience brought by labor practice and professional practical training. "Work has done", "work has fun" and "work is worthwhile" are the true feelings of teachers and students on "diligence + wisdom + sweat" in every labor practice.
Promote skills with labor, and strengthen the power of meritorious service
After the sharing session, Mr. Luo Dawei distributed iron rice bowls: gloves and tools to the teachers and students of the 14 groups. Some of them carry buckets of water and transform into succulent gardeners; some wear gloves and become little experts at weeding and cleaning; some carry hoes and become small farmers who transplant seedlings; some pick up paintbrushes and become little craftsmen who beautify the campus... From time to time, the teachers and students on the scene reminded each other of the details of the work, and their attentive looks, the attitude of excellence, and the busy figure attracted frequent praise from teachers and students passing by.
Carry forward the spirit of labor models, the spirit of labor, and the spirit of craftsmen, and stimulate the feelings of labor, the aspiration of hard work, and the strength of meritorious service. The School of Architecture and Engineering consciously integrates life ideals and career pursuits into the great cause of national prosperity and national rejuvenation, leads students to unswervingly listen to the party, follow the party, strive to be strivers in the new era, create a better life through labor, and pass on the spirit of labor model, labor spirit, and craftsman spirit to life.
