She felt that she must understand in advance how hard people had before getting rid of poverty, and then go to the interview to better empathize. Therefore, Chen Belle personally experienced the Liangshan Ladder and the Nu River Zipline.
Facing a cliff of nearly 90 degrees in the cliff village, Chen Belle, who was afraid of heights, personally fought and spent 13 hours climbing the 2556 ladder with his hands and feet, which was the only way for local villagers to go up and down the mountain in the past.
By 2020, more than 1,400 resettlement communities have been built in the local area, villagers have moved into new homes, the surrounding infrastructure is readily available, and there is no need to climb the ladder, and the cliff village has become an Internet celebrity tourism punch card attraction.
While crossing the Nu River, Chen Belle experienced ziplining, grabbing the selfie stick even if she was afraid. Ziplines were the only means of transportation used to be used by villagers to cross the river, and if they were unlucky enough to fall, they would not be able to find the corpses in the capital.
But fortunately, in 2016, Yunnan built 199 bridges across the river, completely replacing ziplines, and the era of people's lives hanging on the line is over.
