“
Painting is a visual experience that clarifies our minds and awakens the simplicity and unity of the various impressions in our minds. I apply traditional oil painting techniques in both modern and contemporary contexts and continue to innovate. From landscapes of specific locations to narrative-based still lifes are the subjects of my work. The compositional and light challenges of oil painting as a form of creation are at the forefront of my work. I document the changing natural environment by painting directly in nature and based on my experience studying various landscapes and cities around the globe. ”
