The Mercedes-Benz T-Class features more passenger car design languages, including an optional set of 17-inch alloy wheels with chrome-plated mid-mesh, a through-feed bumper design, and body-coloured mirrors. In addition, the body size of the new car is 4498 * 1859 * 1811 mm, and the wheelbase is 2716 mm.
The interior of the new car adopts a large number of circular elements, the overall design is more layered, but it is still based on practicality, and the size of the instrument LCD screen and the central control screen is relatively small. The 7-inch touchscreen has a built-in MBUX infotainment system that is compatible with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. In addition, the new car is equipped with a keyless system, 7 airbags and ADAS driver assistance systems.
The tall body provides a spacious interior, and there are sliding doors on both sides to facilitate access to the rear, which is also large enough to accommodate three child seats.
The three independent seats make the trunk of the new car more flexible and can accommodate a variety of items, and large items such as strollers and pet cages can be easily accommodated.
In terms of power, the new car was developed in cooperation with the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance, so it will be equipped with the same power as the Renault Kangoo, including a 1.3-liter inline 4-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine and a 1.5-liter inline 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine, of which the 1.3T engine has a maximum power of 102 hp and 131 hp, respectively, and the 1.5T engine has a maximum power of 75 hp, 95 hp and 116 hp, respectively.
