According to CCTV news, recently, the United Kingdom and other places have occurred unexplained children's acute hepatitis, Japan's Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare issued a message on the 25th that the first case of children in Japan may have suffered from this acute hepatitis.

The Asahi Shimbun quoted the Ministry of Health and Welfare as saying that the case met the World Health Organization's (WHO) definition of a "similar case." "Similar cases" refer to acute hepatitis other than hepatitis A to E that has been detected on liver examinations since January this year.
The medical institution reported the case to the Ministry of Health and Welfare through the local government on the 21st of this month. The Ministry of Health and Welfare did not disclose the patient's symptoms, place of residence, gender, or age, and it is not known whether there was an underlying medical condition. However, it can be confirmed that the patient has not undergone a liver transplant and has tested negative for the new crown virus.
According to the World Health Organization, as of the 21st of this month, 169 cases have been confirmed in 12 countries and one person has died. Of these cases, 74 detected "adenovirus", which is the virus that causes summer colds and conjunctivitis. Symptoms include liver enzyme abnormalities that indicate the degree of swelling and liver damage, and in some cases abdominal pain, diarrhea, and vomiting. In addition, 20 of them were infected with the new crown virus, and 19 cases were infected with both the new crown virus and the adenovirus.
