Shenzhen, April 25 (Reporter Zheng Xiaohong) OpenHarmony Technology Day was held in Shenzhen on the 25th, and the OpenHarmony 3.1 Release version was officially released, bringing many new features, new technologies and new features. Huawei continues to invest in technological innovation, ecosystem construction, community operation, and developer empowerment to promote the prosperity and development of the OpenHarmony community.

The Technology Day was jointly organized by the Open Atom Open Source Foundation, Huawei, Shenzhen Kaihong, iSoftStone, Huaqiu, 51CTO, Runhe Software, Oriental Innovation and Technology, etc., to create a solid digital base for thousands of industries.

Since open source in 2020, Huawei has continued to contribute code to the OpenHarmony open source project. In this release, Huawei also provides supporting development tools HUAWEI DevEco Studio 3.0 Beta3 and HUAWEI DevEco Device Tool 3.0 Release. In terms of ecological construction, Huawei has also opened up its technical accumulation and rich experience in the field of operating system development, launched a series of ecological enablement services, helped partners develop commercial distributions for various industries based on OpenHarmony, and accelerated the commercial landing of OpenHarmony in various industries.

At present, the proportion of industrial digitalization in the digital economy has reached 80.2%. The operating system, as the base of the entire digital economy building, has moved from the consumer market to a thousand industries. The proportion of the digital economy in the national economy is becoming more and more important, and the importance of its base is also more prominent, and thousands of industries have a strong appeal to safe and trustworthy, intelligent collaboration, and smooth performance of the operating system.

The OpenHarmony Open Source Project is an open source project incubated and operated by the Open Atomic Open Source Foundation. As a new generation of open source and open intelligent terminal operating system with the characteristics of all-scenario, secure and trustworthy, and distributed, OpenHarmony is deeply in line with the needs of thousands of industries for digital transformation, and is currently building a terminal equipment ecosystem for the consumer market and industry market, providing a unified and integrated digital innovation basic platform for personal consumption, medical, financial, energy, industrial, transportation, agriculture and other industries. It will cover the next generation of intelligent home, travel, sports and health, entertainment, office, education, social shopping, industrial production and other scenarios.

At present, Huawei has signed the first batch of OpenHarmony ecological enabling cooperation agreements with six OpenHarmony distribution manufacturers, including Aowei (Zhongke Chuangda), Honghu Wanlian, Kaihong Zhigu, Runhe Software, Shenzhen Kaihong, and Tongxin Software. At the same time, it announced that Huawei's technology accumulation and rich experience in the field of operating system development will enable partners to develop OpenHarmony-based industry distributions for finance, education, energy, industry, transportation, agriculture, consumer electronics and other fields.

At present, the OpenHarmony ecosystem has begun to take shape. At present, more than 30 development boards/modules, 8 software distributions and more than 50 commercial devices are passing the OpenHarmony compatibility assessment, and OpenHarmony is also trying to build an application ecology of complex standard devices with screens, covering games, videos, music, maps and other categories.
