It is understood that ByteDance wholly invested in the establishment of Shanghai Boiling Silence Technology Co., Ltd. in January this year, and Ren Lifeng, head of its VR business Pico, became a legal person.

According to Tech Planet, the "boiling silence" business will involve virtual clothing, virtual people, virtual fashion, etc., and link with douyin, Pico and other businesses. Currently, the project team is located in Shanghai and Beijing.
The relevant person in charge of Douyin said that "Boiling Silence" is an online fashion creative platform for fashion designers, which is still in the early stage of exploration.
