Spring is the season when crested ibises lay eggs and hatch and breed offspring, and every season, Longzihu Wetland Park, from crested ibises laying eggs to hatching young birds to break their shells, will be recorded by careful photography enthusiasts until the young birds leave their parents to live independently.
Crested ibises breed their chicks in the same way as other birds such as swans, husband and wife jointly undertake to brood, through observation, the mother bird incubates the young birds in the nest for a longer time than the male birds hatch in the nest.
