Ebola, once again, appeared in people's perspectives.

On April 23, local time, the health authorities of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) announced the confirmed diagnosis of a case of Ebola in the city of Mbandaka in the country's northwestern equateur province, which is also the third outbreak of Ebola since 2018.

According to media reports, the patient is a 31-year-old man who has developed symptoms as early as April 5, and after more than a week of home nursing, his condition has not improved, and he was then sent to the hospital for treatment.
Soon, on 21 April, the patient deteriorated and was subsequently admitted to the intensive care unit of the Ebola treatment center, but sadly died later that day.

Why is Ebola called the "invisible rope of life"?
Ebola is a filovirus that invades the body's immune cells and, once infected, typically has a case fatality rate of between 25 and 90 percent, with an average case fatality rate of 60 percent.
Regrettably, however, the virus has neither an intermediate host nor a relative vaccine to prevent it, nor a cure.
At the same time, Ebola spreads in a terrifying way and at a speed, and the Ebola virus also floats like a ghost in many african countries, with 23 outbreaks in 1976-2012 alone.
Once infected with Ebola, patients initially present with nonspecific symptoms such as fever, vomiting, and severe diarrhea, followed by various tissue damages such as internal bleeding, external bleeding, and multi-organ failure.

The most important thing is that such viruses will continue to mutate, and once they mutate, not only will the latency prolong, but the death process of infected people will be slower, and the risk of transmission will be greatly increased.
