Black Ginger
Located at the Slate Hotel on Nai Yang Beach, Black Ginger is in a beautiful location, like being in a traditional Thai movie. The Slate Hotel itself is a work of art and the best way to enjoy it is to spend a weekend in Slate and explore every corner. Specialties are som tam, tom yum, panaeng curry and crispy prawns served with mashed cha-plu leaves.

Peang Prai
Peang Prai is a hidden restaurant tucked away next to Bang Pae Waterfall. Due to its remote location, most tourists don't know that if you happen to be in the area, Peang Prai is one of two great places to have lunch and is worth the long trek to enjoy their delicious Thai food.

Kruvit Raft
The Kruvit Raft floating restaurant is just a 5-minute longtail boat ride away. You can enjoy dinner while admiring the surrounding waters. While there's nothing exquisite here, several large rafts are connected to thatched roofs on basic tables – simple, relaxing, unusual and delicious seafood.

Hong Khao Tom Pla
Hong Khao Tom Pla is a low-key and historic restaurant in Phuket Town, named for its famous fish and rice porridge specialty. Michelin guides recommend Tom Yam Khai Pla (sour and spicy seafood and caviar soup) and Pu Phat Phong Ka Ri (crab curry).

I'm The Seafood
Ko Ang Seafood is a local restaurant located on the east side of Phuket Town that serves excellent seafood. Restaurants can order a lot of seafood, and if you're bold, check out the fish display in front of the restaurant and you'll see things you've never seen before, like red ant eggs and fat palm grubs.

Khun Jeed Yod Pak
Khun Jeed Yod Pak Restaurant is an institution in Phuket Town and one of the best local restaurants on the island, having been in business for over 20 years. It is famous for a dish called radna that Thais love. Radna is a Thai Chinese noodle dish served with pork, beef, chicken or seafood.

Krua Ohm
Krua Ohm is a small, unpretentious local Thai restaurant in Kathu that has been recommended in the Michelin Guide for two consecutive years. This restaurant is tucked away between Patong Beach and Phuket Town. Eiam Tor (salted fried pork belly) is the restaurant's signature dish. This piece of pork may be mistaken for pork belly, but it was actually found under the armpits of pigs. This dish is non-greasy and is perfect to accompany beer or rice or Gang Som (a lime chutney fish soup).

Blue Elephant Restaurant
Located in Pitak Chinpracha, a century-old landmark building, Phuket Blue Elephant Restaurant towers over the atmosphere of a noble old era. The wood decoration in the hall gives people a sense of elegance and tradition. Under the warm light are exquisite dishes, delicious from exotic countries.

O Cha Red
O Cha Rot is one of the best noodle soups in Phuket Town. Like most noodle soups in Thailand, there are only a few soups and noodle sizes to choose from, as well as some meatballs. O Cha Rot's signature broth is simple and sophisticated, and each customer can adjust the soup to their taste.

Suay Cherngtalay
Suay Cherngtalay serves modern Thai cuisine and the restaurant is very attractive and divided into two areas. The main restaurant is a welcoming interior building, and the outdoor seating area in the garden has a more casual atmosphere. The food served in the restaurant revolves around a soft modern variation of the original Thai recipe. The dishes are beautifully presented and perfectly balanced in taste and texture.
