Apple has announced that it will hold the 2022 Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC22) online from June 6 to 10, EST, and all developers can participate for free.
This year's WWDC22 conference will still focus on software technology, and will launch new operating systems including iOS 16, WatchOS 9, macOS 13 and TVOS 16, while showing some of Apple's cutting-edge innovations.
According to the latest revelations of LeaksApplePro, iOS 16 decided to remove support for the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus and the first-generation iPhone SE.
In terms of UI design, new features exposed by iOS 16 include InfoShack, a large widget that can interact with information on the desktop, and Quick Actions, which can be easily operated by app through shortcut icons on the lock screen.
On the Apple APP, reminders, files, and mail apps will be fine-tuned, and health apps will be completely refactored. The music feature will also add an "Apple Classical" subscription to serve those who prefer traditional music. The music recommendation function will also be more intelligent and user-friendly to meet the needs.
By convention, the probability of Apple releasing a hardware product at WWDC is slim. However, according to foreign media reports recently, the new MacBook Air and Mac mini equipped with Apple Silicon's planned M2 series chips will likely be unveiled on the WWDC22.
The M2 series chips may use TSMC's 4nm process, with 8 CPU cores and 10 display cores.
The new MacBook Air equipped with the chip, code-named J413, will use a display with a white bezel, but there will be no bangs, the screen size will be increased to 13.6 inches, it is still an LCD, and it will not use miniLED for the time being. The new model is thinner and lighter, and it will also have a better FaceTime camera.

In addition, two new Mac minis equipped with M2 chips, codenamed J473, and equipped with M2 Pro chips and codenamed J474, may be launched at the same time.
