I remember that year in Iran

author:Tieba saw and heard

Iran is a mysterious country in the eyes of most Chinese people, and it is also an ancient civilization with a history of 5,000 years. Zoroastrianism in the Book of the Dragon Slayer, ancient Persia, the Silk Road ~ I have seen a blockbuster before, "Escape from Tehran" is the only impression I have of the country of Iran.

In 2016, Gezhouba Group undertook the construction of the Rudba Hydropower Station project in Iran, and our company was also involved as a material supplier for the main factory house. The main plant of The Rudba Hydropower Station is a bolt ball net structure, which is designed and supplied by the company and is also responsible for providing installation technical support. So also had my trip to Iran.

When I received the notice, I was still working on the Construction of Guangdong Meizhou Yuedian Group, and the time was still relatively urgent, and there was only one week to prepare in the middle. The company also specially explained that the on-site conditions are more difficult, and when you go, bring some hot sauce, pickles or something. I guess it's okay to be tough, after all, the time is short. We are on a tourist visa for only one month. It passed quickly. Asked about the itinerary, the company told me that Iran is also on arrival, you need to pay a health fee of about seventy dollars to get out of customs, there are no other requirements. I didn't ask in detail, after all, I was also a person who had been out of the distance several times. It was because I didn't ask in detail, and the company didn't elaborate on it and almost let me stay at the airport and repatriate to China.

This time I went to Iran with a colleague surnamed Sha. The two of us took the high-speed train to Beijing, went to my brother's place for a meal at noon, drank a bottle of Wuliangye and three people drank it, and fainted to the capital airport. The itinerary shows that it is From Beijing to Urumqi to Tehran. Exit in Urumqi.

There were very few people on the plane, so they slept at Urumqi Airport, waited for several hours at the airport, and then got out of the customs and boarded the plane of China Southern Airlines to Tehran. The plane arrived in Tehran at 2:30 a.m. the next morning. With the flow of people to go through the customs clearance procedures, I paid seventy dollars and stamped a stamp on my passport, and then I arrived at the place where I signed the visa on arrival. My colleagues and I lined up at the back, and when it was our turn, I handed my passport through the window to the staff. The staff was an old man with a long beard, and he flipped our passports over several times, and after half a day of grunting, he handed us the passport out without sticking the visa paper. The language barrier we did not understand a word, this time our passengers in this class have completed the formalities to pick up the luggage, leaving only the two of us stupid dogs in the camera. What to do, I told Lao Sha that you are waiting here, I found someone who understands and asked. After looking for half a day, a Chinese tour guide told us that Iran must have the contact information of locals to get out of customs, and the customs also has to call to verify. As it was, no one told me. A mobile phone that does not open international roaming is a brick, and there is no way to contact the company. I was sweating profusely with old sand. I told Lao Sha that I could only wait to see if there was a Chinese and we did the same visa on arrival, and we used the same contact information as him. Kung Fu pays off, about half an hour later, two young men also came to do the visa on arrival, I hurried forward and asked: Fellow, are you also doing the visa on arrival? The young man said yes, I asked if I could do a piece of us, we did not have local contact information. I told them about our situation. Two well-meaning people handed over our passports together, and finally the old man stamped our passports. I still remember two young men who came to Iran on a business trip by ZTE staff. Bidding farewell to the two boys, we almost ran to get our luggage, and it had been almost two hours, and we didn't know if we had lost it. Fortunately, the luggage had been put aside by the staff. Out of the airport, the pick-up staff of the Tehran office of Gezhouba Company was holding a sign and looking east and west, I went over to say hello to him, he said what happened to you two? How did it take so long. I said, I'll tell you more on the road.

The office is a villa rented in the wealthy area of Tehran and beautifully renovated. The floors are all local marble and there is a dedicated chef. We were going to stay here for a few days, waiting for the car from the construction site to go to Tehran to run errands, and then follow the car to the construction site.

A few days after waiting for the bus, Lao Sha and I walked around the streets of Tehran, and when the locals saw us, we shouted "Qin", perhaps in their language Qin represents China. After tasting fresh pistachios and drinking unpalatable mint yogurt, the construction site car finally arrived, and a handsome Iranian boy drove us both to Druba with a brand new Mitsubishi pickup truck.

Out of the city of Tehran, on the highway to feel the same as China's Xinjiang, it is also sparsely populated, there is little vegetation, and the feeling of desertification. After driving for about three or four hours, the car stopped in a large service area where we had to settle for lunch and then continue on our way. It was a fast food restaurant similar to KFC, and it also sold roast chicken burgers and the like, and the business was particularly hot. But the taste is not too flattering. Arriving at the construction site in the evening, the project department had already arranged a place to live, and after a day of running, we quickly fell asleep. The next day we started our work in Iran.
