Last month, after the renovation of Sun Chuanzhe's former residence, the "Sun Chuanzhe Stamp Art Museum" on the first floor was opened to the public. Today, under the "special explanation" of Li Lan, vice president of the City Philatelic Association, we saw the connotation of stamps as a "national business card" and also appreciated the master style of Sun Chuanzhe.
"This stamp exhibition has received strong support from Ningbo City Investment Corporation." Li Lan introduced that on the one hand, through the donation of Mr. Sun Chuanzhe's family, on the other hand, with the efforts of all parties, a total of 1939 exhibits were collected in the art museum, and 2/3 of the exhibition hall was displayed for the first time, and these exhibits were free to the public.
Ningbo Sun Chuanzhe Stamp Art Museum covers an area of about 440 square meters and is divided into two exhibition halls. The first exhibition hall is designed and displayed for Sun Chuanzhe's stamps, with four sections of "Memory of the Republic, Jiangshan Duojiao, Wonderful Pen Flowing Fang, and Guangjie Postal Relationship", which sorts out and summarizes Mr. Sun Chuanzhe's artistic life. "The Republic Seal plate is located on the left side of the main house, and Mr. Sun, as a pioneer in the new China stamp design industry, can be reflected in the multiple 'first sets' in this plate." Li Lan introduced that there is China's first set of national flag stamps, the first set of national emblem stamps, the first set of aviation stamps, the first set of arrears stamps, etc.
In the Miaobi Liufang plate, there are a number of cute and beloved "Goldfish" stamps. In order to paint the appearance of goldfish, Mr. Sun specially found Mr. Tong Di, a biologist who is also from Ningbo. Mr. Tong gave him a large bucket of goldfish, and Mr. Sun drew it for several months before choosing the final design. "Mr. Sun Chuanzhe's diligent and refined style comes to life in Li Lan's mouth.
"Mr. Sun is also a person with a wide range of postal ties, and in 1988, he was invited by the Ningbo Philatelic Association to participate in the Ningbo Hefeng Textile Factory Philatelic Activity Symposium, when Mr. Sun was very interested and mingled with the 'fans'." Li Lan found precious video materials for us in the "Guangjie Postal Relationship" section, as well as the invitation letter at that time and the admission ticket to the stamp exhibition. "Here, there is also a commemorative cover designed by Mr. Sun for the Qianzhangyan Waterfall in Xuedou Mountain, Xikou, Ningbo."
The second exhibition hall is an exhibition designed by Chinese stamp designers, jointly organized by the Ningbo Philatelic Association invited by the China Stamp Printing Bureau, covering the representative works of 36 stamp designers of the old, middle and young generations of New China. "These stamp designers are from the Beijing Stamp Factory, where Mr. Sun used to work."
