Minos, king of Crete, was ready to make a deal with Poseidon, the god of the sea, promising to give Poseidon a particularly beautiful white cow as a gift if Poseidon could put him in charge of the ocean.
However, the greedy Minos replaced the bull during the sacrifice. When Poseidon learned that he had been deceived, he sought help from Aphrodite, the goddess of love, in revenge on Minos.
Aphrodite caused Minos' wife, Parsifah, to develop an uncontrollable lust for the White Bull. The combination of the two gave birth to Minotaur, a terrible beast with a human body, a bull's head, and a human flesh.
Now, the Minotaurs in our story is a symbol of the dark side of Taurus, which has a human body and a cow's head. You can understand that in every Taurus nature there is this fundamental conflict, the human, ideal side vs. the animal side.
When they cannot let desire be guided by their own humanity, but let their humanity be dragged by desire, then they will become monsters like Minotaurs— swallowed up and swayed by rampant desire.

Since Minotaurs was a disgrace to Minoans, it was kept in a labyrinth by the latter, so complex that no one could get in and out alive. Trapped in it, Minotauros spends his days devouring young boys and girls fed by the outside world.
The hero Theseus decides to kill Minotaurus. With the help of Minoan daughter Ariadne and the threads she provided, he found a way into the labyrinth, stabbed Minotaulos to death with his sword, and found a way out again through the threads.
After completing his mission, Theseus married Ariadne, eventually replacing Minos as the new king of Crete.
