Beijing News (reporter Yang Feifei) how to charge electric vehicles correctly? How to save myself when I am trapped in an elevator? On the evening of August 31, the first class of the 2021 Beijing Primary and Secondary School Public Safety School was officially opened. This is the third year since 2019 that primary and secondary school students in Beijing have learned public safety knowledge through this form.

Compared with previous years, this year's first lesson of public safety focused on hot topics such as elevator safety, flood season safety precautions, and the use of AED (automatic external defibrillator), and at the same time, a parent-child interaction session was also set up to allow parents and students to work together to enhance public safety awareness.

The first lesson of the school also attracted the attention of many netizens. According to the data, as of press time, on Sina Weibo, the topic "The First Lesson of Public Safety School" has reached 44.395 million.

Electric vehicles, elevator safety, pay attention to the safety of students around

Riding an electric car to pick up and drop off students is a very common thing for many parents. At the same time, in recent years, the news of fires caused by electric bicycles has also appeared in the news.

The data shows that since 2021, there have been 6462 electric bicycle fire accidents nationwide. Hu Fangfang, deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Institute of Product Quality Supervision and Inspection and the National Automobile Quality Inspection Center, said, "Most of the safety accidents that have occurred in recent years are caused by unqualified products and improper use. ”

So in daily life, how to ensure the safety of electric vehicles? Yang Jingbo, director of the News and Publicity Department of the Chaoyang District Fire Rescue Detachment in Beijing, said that the use of electric vehicles should pay attention to the purchase of qualified products certified by 3C, the second is not to modify the battery, the third is to inspect, maintain and replace the battery in one and a half to two and a half years, and the fourth is not to park the electric vehicle indoors and charge it.

In addition to the safety of electric vehicles, elevator safety is also very important. The first lesson played a video of a 13-year-old boy in Fujian who was trapped in an elevator and fell to his death.

How to save yourself when you are trapped in an elevator? Will I fall suddenly when I usually take the elevator? While waiting for rescue, will there be no air in the elevator, resulting in suffocation and death? In response to the students' questions, Zhang Hongliang, an inspector at the Beijing Special Equipment Monitoring Center, said that the elevator car generally has four ropes, as long as the rope is not broken, there will be no case of the elevator falling out of control, "but the car may sometimes be for other reasons, resulting in it not being able to find its own position, at this time it will return to the 'base station', that is, the first floor, just like the computer restart." ”

Zhang Hongliang reminded students that if they encounter an elevator failure and are trapped in the elevator, one should call the rescue phone or 119 through the alarm bell or mobile phone to seek professional help, and the other is to calmly wait for rescue, "you can convey the distress message through the tapping sound." Never force the door to be slammed. ”

In the first aid knowledge popularization link, props for cardiac resuscitation were set up on the spot. Some students demonstrated the process of cardiac resuscitation on the spot. How many compressions do I have to do CPR? How much pressure should I press? To what extent can I stop pressing? In the face of a series of questions, the student said that he was "not clear".

Wang Cong, deputy chief physician of the emergency department of Beijing Jishuitan Hospital, demonstrated on the spot how to perform correct cardiac resuscitation for drowning people and summarized the relevant points, including ensuring environmental safety, taking turns to press two people, and remembering to find someone to help. At the same time, Wang Cong also demonstrated the use of AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) on the spot.

The reporter learned that at present, AED in public places in Beijing is becoming more and more popular. A few days ago, the Beijing Municipal Education Commission also issued a notice, clearly requiring that all types of schools at all levels should purchase AEDs that meet the relevant national standards and industry requirements to ensure the normal use of instruments, and at the end of 2021, each school will be equipped with at least one AED.

In addition to experiencing first aid equipment, the site also prepared a physical electric bicycle, elevator car model, etc., so that students can observe and experience at the scene.

The first lesson of this year's public safety school uses panoramic scene recording, space capsule-style studio, vivid and interesting interactive content, supplemented by external shooting experiments, secret interviews, magic skits and other forms, interspersed with parent-child interactive links such as "rescue drowning people".
