Twitter users said they had shown an edit button, but changing a Tweet failed

According to phoneArena, Twitter seems to feel pressure from the tech mogul seeking change after Elon Musk became Twitter's largest shareholder. Twitter confirmed earlier this month that the company was already developing a long-awaited edit button.

Recently, Dylan Roussel tweeted that he was able to manipulate twitter's edit button before it was officially released. Note, however, that the button has not yet been officially put into use, i.e. it cannot be finalized.

To access the Edit Tweet button, you must open the overflow menu and press the Edit Tweet list in the menu. When the button works, users will be able to correct spelling and spelling mistakes, add content to tweets they write, and tap "Update" to make the appropriate changes to the post. Again, the button has not yet worked, and if you try to use it, a failure message will appear.

For now, Twitter says the edit button will first be available to Twitter Blue subscribers as beta. Until all Twitter users can use the feature, the company will have the opportunity to make any changes it deems necessary.
