Wang Donglin, character Lingyun, Gobi Poplar, Gansu Huining people, Han ethnicity, born in September 1964. In July 1985, he graduated from Changchun Metallurgical Geology School (now Changchun Institute of Engineering) majoring in engineering geology, college degree from China University of Geosciences (majoring in geotechnical engineering technology), and studied in Chengjiao Daben (civil engineering geotechnical major).
