On April 13, the "2022 Changan Automobile Global Partner Conference" was held in Chongqing, and Changan Automobile released the latest corporate development strategy, focusing on the field of new energy, and officially released the digital pure electric brand "Changan Deep Blue", which will become the sixth brand in Changan's independent passenger car sector.

Changan Automobile's entry into the new energy field can be traced back to 2001, and it is one of the earliest enterprises in China to enter the field of new energy vehicles. The core of Changan Automobile's development strategy is "seeking progress in stability", and unlike some car companies that integrate scattered resources through acquisitions, Changan Automobile has experienced three stages of new energy technology research and development, industrialization promotion and market-oriented operation, and completed the positive development process from prototype vehicles to mass-produced products. This process is very long, but it has also laid a solid foundation for Changan to fully enter the new energy track.
Last year was seen by many as the first year of the start of the explosion of new energy vehicles, but at the same time, negative reports such as spontaneous combustion of electric vehicles have also continued. In contrast, Changan has firmly grasped the quality and safety of products, achieved zero accidents due to the vehicle itself, and occupied a place in the field of new energy with models such as the Ben E-Star series. In the absence of full release of production capacity, the sales volume of the Ben E-Star is still among the best in its class, which shows its high popularity.
The first model of the Deep Blue brand has been determined as a pure electric sedan codenamed "C385", which is based on a new EPA architecture, with body dimensions of 4820/1890/1480mm and wheelbase of 2900mm, which should be positioned as a medium-sized pure electric sedan from the official map released. The internal configuration details have not yet been announced, and it is reported that the car will be equipped with Cataline Era battery and electric drive high-frequency pulse heating technology, and provide APA7.0 remote unmanned valet parking system, which is expected to be listed in the second quarter of this year, which is not far away.
Recently, according to relevant channels, Changan's new pure electric mini car - LUMIN (Chinese name: waxy corn) is expected to debut on April 22. According to the previously exposed pictures, the new car will adopt a two-door shape, and the appearance design of Q Meng will compete with models such as Wuling Hongguang MINIEV. The model will be incorporated into the Changan Deep Blue brand system as an effective supplement to the Changan Ben E-Star model. Five new models will continue to be launched to fully cover the mainstream passenger car market.
Changan, together with Huawei and Ningde Times, two high-end smart pure electric brands - Avita Technology, its first model - Avita 11 will also be listed within the year. The car will be equipped with Huawei dual motor system, the maximum power can reach 425kW, zero hundred acceleration time to reach 3 seconds, endurance, equipped with 90.38kWh Ningde era ternary lithium battery pack, cruising range of more than 600km. In addition, the car has a number of intelligent hardware configurations to achieve a higher level of assisted driving capabilities. Since then, Changan will form a comprehensive product matrix from entry to high-end for mini cars, mainstream passenger cars, and high-end intelligent electric vehicles.
It is worth mentioning that Avita Technology and Changan Deep Blue will share technological achievements and jointly lead the rest of Changan Automobile's brands to promote the electrification process, which shows Changan Automobile's determination to transform into an intelligent low-carbon travel technology company, and also moves towards the goal of becoming a world-class Chinese independent automobile brand.
