Beijing time on April 14 news, Denver Nuggets star Jokic was interviewed after today's training, and chatted with reporters about MVP ownership and preparation for the playoffs.
At the top of the current list of most valuable players, Jokic is very hopeful of winning the award for two consecutive seasons, but Jokic himself is relatively dismissive of it.
"If it does happen (to be MVP), it will feel good." When asked by reporters how it would feel if he really won the MVP, Jokic replied.
He really doesn't value the award much, I'm afraid it is.
Jokic also told reporters that he couldn't remember where the MVP trophy he won last year was placed.
"Honestly, I really can't remember where he was." Jokic said.
Jokic also said that since he was recently moving, everything was handled by his wife, which meant that he did not care about the storage of his personal belongings.
According to the regular season rankings, the Nuggets' first-round playoff opponent is the Golden State Warriors, and Jokic said that their side is preparing according to the criteria that Curry can play.
